• 3 = >5 per flower or leaf
• 4 = >8 per flower or leaf
• 5 = >10 per flower or leaf

Spider mite

• 0 = None
• 1 = First signs on 1 leaf
• 2 = Spider mites on 1–<5% of leaves
• 3 = Spider mites on most leaves, just before webbing
• 4 = Webbing present
• 5 = 100% of leaves with webbing

Aphid

• 0 = None
• 1 = First winged aphid
• 2 = First colony starting
• 3 = Established colony
• 4 = Widespread colonies with winged aphids moving / spreading
• 5 = Majority of plants with established colonies
